Microsoft Office - manual uninstallation

To avoid conflicts with the files, you should not have two Office packages on your device. For this reason, it is necessary to uninstall pre-installed Office packages beforehand. The following instructions will guide you through the process.

For an alternative and more comprehensive cleanup of Office programs, we recommend using Microsoft's uninstall tool. This tool provides an efficient way to thoroughly remove all Office-related files.

Step 1

Right-click on the Start/Windows icon at the bottom left of your screen and navigate to the Apps and Features tab.

Step 2

Under Search this list, search for Office , then search for 365 .

Step 3

Uninstall any file that appears. To do this, click each file individually and then click Uninstall .

Step 4

Allow changes to be made by clicking Yes

Step 5

Now click Uninstall to start the uninstallation.

Step 6

The selected Office package will now be removed. Please be patient. This may take a few minutes.

Step 7

Now click Close .

Step 8

Repeat the uninstalls on all other files until none are displayed.
