Upgrade from Home to Pro

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR UPGRADING FROM WINDOWS HOME TO WINDOWS PRO

This only applies if you purchased Windows 11 Pro!

If you have Windows Home pre-installed, you will receive an error message when entering the key because your operating system does not match the key.

Upgrading from Windows Home to Windows Pro is easy and straightforward and works as follows:

  1. Open the Start menu and click on "Settings".
  2. Go to the "Activation" category and select "Change Product Key".
  3. Enter the following key in the input field: "VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T".
    (This key serves as a placeholder and does not activate your Windows, but was published by Microsoft for the upgrade process)
  4. The upgrade to Windows Pro should now begin. Your computer will restart automatically.
  5. After the restart, the upgrade is complete and Windows Pro is installed on your computer, but not yet activated.
  6. Click on "Change Product Key" again and enter the key you purchased from us.

Important: If you enter the placeholder key "VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T," the internet must be disabled on your PC/laptop; otherwise, it won't work. After rebooting, you can turn Wi-Fi back on, click "Change Product Key" again, and enter the key you purchased from us.
